The agreement

By installing or using Everyday Paper (the apps, this website, and any web app we offer) you agree to these terms. If you use the apps through Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two conflict for App Store users, Apple's terms govern.

Your content

What you write, record, import or connect is yours. We claim no rights in it. You are responsible for it — including for having the consent you need to record other people, which varies by jurisdiction. The apps include a recording notice you can announce, copy, speak or add to an invitation; using it is your decision.

Professional use

Everyday Paper is a tool for keeping your own notes and matters. It is not legal, medical or financial advice, and features that summarise, detect deadlines or draft follow-ups can be wrong. Review before you rely.

Third-party services

Services you connect (Apple iCloud, Google, Notion, an AI provider, cloud transcription) are governed by their own terms and charges. Keys and tokens you enter are stored on your device and used on your behalf.

Availability and changes

We ship often and features change. We may withdraw or alter a feature; your library remains yours and can be exported at any time from Settings.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The software is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you did not back up. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are brought in its courts. Consumers in other jurisdictions keep the protections of their own law.
